Jim is an ordained Priest who is the Rector of the Anglican Regional Ministry of South Huron; including Port Franks, Grand Bend and Exeter.
He is also a clinically trained counsellor who offers pastoral counselling for individuals, couples and families.
He incorporates an appreciation for spirituality with his traditional psycho-therapeutic approach.
This holistic mix of psychology and spirituality is an increasingly accepted healing process in prominent (and traditional) schools of training (look on the Links page to see an article on this matter).
Rev. Jim’s specialties include the management of grief, anxiety, anger, and stress. He assists clients in discovering inner strength and confidence, developing practical models of resiliency, and feeling more fulfilled in their day-to-day lives.
He was the founder, director and lead therapist for the North Shore Interfaith Counseling Center (supported by United Way). And has many years of experience in private practice.
Rev.Jim has worked with several EAP providers.
He is available Monday to Saturday for a 50-minute session at a reasonable and negotiable cost; some of which goes directly to the church in which he is a pastor.
