Jim is a clinically trained individual, couple, and family therapist who lives and works in GrandBend/Exeter area. He incorporates traditional psychotherapy with an appreciation for spirituality. This mix of psychology and spirituality is increasingly becoming accepted in prominent schools of training (look on the Links page to see an article on this matter-‘Psychology and Spirtuality’).
His unique psycho/spiritual perspective assists help his clients in discovering inner strength and confidence, develop practical models of resiliency, and feel more fulfilled in their day-to-day lives.
He was the founder, director and lead therapist for the North Shore interfaith Counseling Center (supported by United Way). He has many years of experience in private practice and has worked with several EAP providers.
Rev. Jim is available Monday to Saturday for a 50-minute session at a reasonable and negotiable cost; some of which goes directly to the church in which he is a pastor.
Rev. Jim’s specialties include the management of anxiety, anger, and stress.
